Application Checklist

Your application cannot be reviewed until all of the following materials have been submitted to DIS:

Recommendation letters and transcripts may be sent directly by the recommender or university to the DIS North American Office (see address below).

There is not a form that DIS requires your recommender to complete. Rather, a professor/advisor is asked to write a letter approximately one page in length. The letter of recommendation should address such topics as academic suitability and any other factors relevant to the students ability to participate successfully in a study abroad program.

The application fee is non-refundable, but if you pay the application fee and later attend DIS you will receive a $50 credit on your tuition fees. Click here for more information on application fee.

DIS will notify you by email if your application is incomplete.  Applications will be reviewed in Copenhagen by the DIS Admissions Board and you will be notified of their decision within two weeks of receipt of your complete application (see application checklist above). If you are accepted to the DIS program, you will be required to pay a $500 program deposit during the registration process to secure your place in the program. This deposit is non-refundable and the $500 will be deducted from the Comprehensive Tuition Fee.

Pay the $ 50 Application Fee

Students applying directly to DIS are required to pay a US $50 application fee.
